Twirl Magazine
is proud to
announce that we
are moving into
the future by
making our
magazine all
digital and
making our
website a true
multimedia
experience. We
are going green!
Not only do we
get to “go
green’ by
reducing waste
we also get to
reduce the cost
to you. The
price of
subscriptions
has been lowered
from $33.00 a
year to $25.00
dollars a year.
The printers we
have spoken to
have stated that
over 70% of
their magazine
business is
going digital
and that means a
huge increase in
print costs.
Small magazines
simply cannot
afford to
continue
printing
magazines and
most have moved
into the digital
world. In order
to keep Twirl
Magazine going
we had to look
at all our
options and we
saw tremendous
opportunity in
the digital
medium. Those of
you with
existing
subscriptions
will receive 2
additional
issues as a
thank you for
your support and
understanding of
this transition.
The magazine
will be
delivered
directly to your
email or you can
access it on our
all new website.
The digital
format allows us
to bring more
interactive
features
directly to you
from the pages
of the magazine.
This new format

only enhance

experience. With
the

We are also very

will continue to
ask questions of
the week and put
breaking news
our wall as
well.
We will need
your help with
supplying
articles, tips
and tricks,

letters to the
editor. We want
to make this
magazine for and
about the
twirling world.
This is your
magazine. You
will direct the
content. The
more articles
and comments we
get the better.
The only way we
can make this a
success is with
your support and
active
involvement. We
are looking for
correspondents
from around the
country and
world to report
on the twirling
world. We are
looking for
regional/state
correspondents,
University
reporters,
pageant people
and those in
fields related
to baton
twirling issues
(medical, dance
instructors,
vendor etc.) The
magazine also
needs articles
for Junior
Spotlight (Adv.
0-13), Senior
Spotlight (Adv.
13+), Rising
Stars (any
twirler), Team
Scene, Friday
Night Lights
(High School
Twirling) Judges
Table, Coaches
Corner and On
the Field
(College
Twirling). If

Magazine is

review. This
book will have
all of the
articles from

well as results
from state,
regional and
national events
from all over
the country.
Included in this
annual review
will be a
section
dedicated to
births,
marriages and
deaths. You can
also send a
message of
congratulations
to your favorite
twirler or
team/corps for
all their hard
work. This Year
in Review will
also show case
the reigning
National and
World Champions
from all the
different
organizations.
