My 20 yr. old son was diagnosed with a type of RA this past Fall. Recently, the disease has become crippling and joint degradation is evident. At times, I do believe a cane would help him walk. Recently, his medication was switched to Anbrel, an immune surpressant, which requires him to give himself a weekly injection. All prayers welcomed! Thank you! patti

My prayers are with your family.
My sister has Stills Disease and is also a form of arthritis that is mostly joint related. She has all kinds of issues - it is an immune issue as well.(we call it out of control arthritis).

She had to give herself injections at one point.
I hope things ease up for him....
My sister has had many surgery's and has her good days and her not so good days - (((hugs))) to you and your son.

Thank you! Knowing others share, care and lend their support helps. Kevin is strong, but he's also 20. I'm not sure if he's thinking much past college graduation. This is one time mom can't kiss it and make it better! Again, thank you for the prayers. Warmly, Patti
